External Trigger?

External Trigger Input? Could someone advise me as to where the connection for this feature is and what the switch settings are to enable it? Also, what is difference difference between "Normal" trigger and "Automatic" Trigger.

If scope is under "AUTO" mode waveform will refresh no matter trigger event is detected or not. If scope is under "NORM" mode waveform will only refresh when trigger event is detected. Normal mode is useful when you want to catch signals that are "rare" to appear.

External trigger is available only with firmware version 113-13810-110, which will be posted to our website soon. The input for external trigger signal is PB15.

Thanks for the answer. Is there additional hardware required to reload the firmware upgrade?

A Uart-USB converter is required for firmware re-flash. Please see this document https://jyetech.com/Products/LcdScope/D ... rmware.pdf .

All DSO138mini boards have external trigger feature enabled. The input pin for external trigger is PB15 on the right side of main board.
